'Textra' was founded in 1964 by 'Mac' Mackinnon and remains a family run business today.

The business which started life in London moved to Abingdon on Thames in the 1970's and in August 2001 settled in a converted barn on the edge of the family vineyard in East Hendred, Oxfordshire.

For almost 40 years Textra has striven to achieve quality and exciting furnishing fabrics, produced to a high specification, which are value for money. This is backed up by a high level of service from a small friendly team.

Our range is varied and imaginative covering a wide range of design styles from classical florals to transitional and contemporary designs in both printed and woven qualities.

We specialise in high specification flame-retardant fabrics and offer a making up service for contract users.
