Textra was founded in 1964 by Mac Mackinnon and remains a family business today.

The business started life in London in the heady days of the early 60's and our archives are full of fabulous "Prints in Purple" a wonderful heritage.

Moves to Abingdon and then East Hendred saw us survive several recessions and now we are happily settled in Steventon a village south of Oxford.

We offer a curtain supply, make and fitting service as well as advising on all aspects of 'Window Dressing'. Our own fabric range developed over 45 years offers an eclectic mix of contemporary and classical print and weaves produced to a high specification for both the contract and domestic customer. If a broader selection is required our experience and knowledge of the market place allows us to suggest other ranges to suit any scheme or budget.
